1.) The city has experimented with some sensor systems at the entrance to its beaches. The current system in place is a new app-based system for the utilization of city trails. The solution, Easy2Hike only provides data for those who have downloaded the app and are using it. The City is additionally interested in other approaches that can provide more information regarding the utilization of our trails and open space.
2.) The City is looking for a solution that is $30,000 or below. We expect that there may be an annual cost as well.
3.) The city has a public safety camera system in place and is expanding it to all of our facilities. There is a public safety camera system policy that has been in place since 2017. The system is not actively monitored, but instead is monitored when an incident occurs or when there is a particular event that would benefit for its utilization. The city is open to a solution that uses cameras and would consider our current system and policy when determining acquisition.
