- Can you describe the specifications of the digital network with which San Diego intends to link these smart sensors / nodes?
- Do you have technical requirements for these smart sensors / nodes already established? If so, what are they? If not, is this procurement process designed to establish those requirements?
- Is the purchasing entity Downtown San Diego Partnership or the City of San Diego?
- To what extent are additional neighborhood operations metrics (e.g. trash detection, or measuring both the presence and schedule of trash bags in the streetscape) valuable as part of this scope of work?
1. The CityIQ sensors are powered by the AT&T LTE network
2. We do not have technical requirements for the CityIQ nodes, we hope the selected participant(s) will us help us define them.
3. We don’t know yet, it will depend on the outcomes of the project.
4. Yes, any additional public right-of-way metrics would be valuable.
