The City of San Diego is holding a competitive solicitation process to collaborate with innovative startups as part of the Startup in Residence program.

Contracting Approach Through City Innovate’s 2018 - 2019 Startup in Residence (STIR) program, the City of San Diego may enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and subsequent Sole Source procurement process with one or more selected Startups, accepting the preceding STIR procurement process as valid.
All purchases made by the City of San Diego including any purchases of civic technology products related to City Innovate’s Startup in Residence (STIR) program, must comply with the City of San Diego’s terms, conditions, and minimum qualifications.
The City of San Diego reserves the right in its sole discretion not to enter into any contract as a result of participation in the 2018 - 2019 STIR program.
