What type of resources does STIR/City Innovate provide?

STIR improves access for doing business with governments by making it easier for startups and innovators to find project opportunities and win government contracts. City Innovate provides guidance and support to help private companies and government agencies navigate to achieve better outcomes, faster.

Does STIR/City Innovate facilitate meetings with City departments?

City Innovate does not facilitate meetings with the City departments. City Innovate may, however, be involved and participate in key milestones.

Are there any forms or applications required (e.g., for STIR), beyond what is specifically identified in Attachment A? If yes, then please clarify RFP references (e.g., 10.1, refers to “applying for STIR program” and section 10.3 refers to “submitting all the forms shown on the STIR platform”).

The application for this RFP consists of completing the online application from the City Innovate website (https://cityinnovate.forms.fm/the-city-of-san-jose-real-time-interpretation-tools-for-limited-and-non-english-speaking-residents/forms/7521), the sections of which include the completion of the forms listed in Attachment A. Section 10.3 refers to the submission through this link.

What are the submittal requirements: deliver forms from RFP to address stated in RFP, or complete forms/questionnaire on line at City Innovate web site, or both?

Conflict of Interest (Section 14): Can we be considered for two concurrent RFPs from City of San Jose that have similar and/or related requirements? Our existing, commercially available suite of products may be used to address the needs for two separate RFPs (1. RFP 19-20-02, REAL-TIME INTERPRETATION TOOLS; and 2. RFP 19-20-01, CRITICAL INFORMATION TRANSLATION FOR EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT). We would like to be considered for both RFPs without creating a Conflict of Interest under the terms of this RFP.

Vendors are encouraged to apply to all RFPs for which they are able to satisfy the solution requirements.
