The Challenge
The City of San José Housing Department is seeking a efficient, automated solution to increase the detection and reporting of property owners that discriminate against housing voucher tenants for our housing analysts.

What happens after I submit an application?
  1. Applications will be formally evaluated and scored between January - March 2020
  2. The highest scoring applicant(s) may be invited to participate in remote interviews in February 2020
  3. The highest scoring applicant will be invited to participate in a demonstration period (typically 16-weeks but can be shorter or longer based on mutual agreement)
  4. At the end of the demonstration period, the government will conduct a formal evaluation to determine if your solution effectively meets the challenge needs
  5. Based on the results of the final evaluation, the government may enter into paid contract (nearly 80% of startups enter into a contract)
